Effie Maude Henry (wife of Robert Robertson Strachan) was born 1881 in Canoe Twp., Indiana Co., PA to parents, Adam Henry, b. 1846 in Canoe Ridge, Indiana Co., PA and Margaret Martin, b. 1847 in the same location. Adam was the son of Simon C. Henry b. 1820 and Rachel Tiger b. 1826.
I have quite a bit of information on this family line back through Effie's ancestry (Martin) through the Revolutionary War and to Ireland. I also have pictures and know all the descendents of Effie and Robert R. Strachan. Effie was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
